I recently visited Malaysian Kopitiam and had a great experience. The restaurant does an excellent job representing the mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences that make Malaysian cuisine so unique and flavorful. We ordered the roti canai appetizer, which was fresh, flaky, and served with a rich curry dipping sauce. It reminded me of a softer, layered paratha-style bread but with its own Malaysian touch. The Malaysian curry chicken was full of flavor, and the Mamak Mee Goreng had the perfect balance of spice, freshness, and wok-fried taste. The service was impressively fast, and the food came out very fresh and clean with crisp vegetables and quality ingredients. One of the highlights was the Malaysian hot Teh Tarik β smooth, creamy, and full of rich tea flavor. Definitely one of the better tea drinks Iβve had at a restaurant. One thing to note is that they charge about a 4% fee for card payments, and many of the posted prices reflect cash pricing. Still, the food quality and freshness made the experience worth it. Overall, a very enjoyable spot for authentic Malaysian comfort food with strong flavors and quick service. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

As a family, we love exploring and experimenting with new restaurants and cuisines, which led us to try Malaysian food for the first time. What a wonderful surprise! The experience was top-notch from start to finish. The owners themselves are right there in the restaurantβcooking, serving, and making sure everyone is taken care of. Because of their personal touch, both the food and the service are truly at the highest star level. Everything we ordered was delicious. We noticed many dishes are beautifully similar to what we love at Thai restaurants, but with a unique, exciting twist of flavors that was just as yummy. The next time we are craving Thai but want a different taste profile, this Malaysian spot is going to be our go-to option. We will definitely be back!

This place brings me back to Kuala Lumpur!! Their Roti Canai with Curry is perfect!!! I love it. Their lamb Curry spice is so authentic. Its spicy too and of course I like it. Last but not least.. Kwetiaw with chicken and egg.. remind me of street food back home.

My partner and I stopped by after my hair appointment. Honestly, Iβve never had Malaysian food before so Iβm pretty excited to share my experience. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Great food with a nice kick of spicy and really tasty. The fried tofu is easily the one of best dish I ever had. My partner loves the roti with curry chicken and lamb. The spicy shrimp was okay and a little pricey (close to $30). Not the best, so I gave it to my partner. Lastly, loved the mango sticky rice!!!

Grabbed lunch here with a buddy, and to my surprise, they had dishes with soup and noodles. I'm only used to seeing that at Ramen or Pho places. I got the very thin noodles & the Malaysian Chicken Curry soup. Now, looking at the Okra & eggplant I figured it was not going to be cooked well enough, but to my surprise, they both blended well. I generally prefer them well cooked, in much smaller pieces, but I was willing to try how the chef prepared it. From the first spoonful, I was amazed at the flavor of the curry soup that lasted till the end. I had to finish something so good. :) The service was decent, non-obtrusive and also not overly friendly, just quiet and attentive. Overall, great tasting food with good service.
